WHAT. CHAIRS, TABLES AND INTERIOR
WHERE. BAR EUROPA. STOCKHOLM
MATERIAL. RE-USED OAK, PINE, STAINLESS STEEL, FIBERglasS.
PRODUCTION. STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

At Bar Europa, PASSA WORKS has crafted a collection of bespoke furniture that merges history and modern design. The tables, chairs, and interiors are made from reclaimed oak and pine, salvaged from the previous restaurant Jappi, breathing new life into materials with a story. This sustainable approach celebrates the beauty of re-use, while maintaining the integrity of Scandinavian craftsmanship.

The bar itself, a bold statement in fiberglass, was designed in collaboration with Vava Objects, blending sleek industrial aesthetics with the warmth of natural wood. Each piece was carefully crafted in Stockholm, resulting in an environment that feels both familiar and fresh—a perfect harmony of old and new.

Founders

PASSA WORKS was founded by three individuals united by a deep respect for craftsmanship, design, and materials. With over 10 years of experience in their respective fields, each founder brings a unique perspective to the studio. One cabinetmaker and carpenter has spent decades crafting custom interiors, from private homes to public spaces, with an unparalleled attention to detail. One product designer brings global experience, having shaped furniture and interiors for leading brands around the world, yet with a passion for exploring the freedom of creating without constraints. One food and interior photographer, sees beauty in functionality and has an eye for what works in a kitchen and living space.

Together, they formed PASSA WORKS to merge these diverse skills and perspectives into a shared vision: to create timeless, handcrafted furniture that balances minimalism, functionality, and aesthetics. PASSA WORKS is a project born from a love of design, a curiosity for materials, and a desire to build without compromise.
